Born in Cortez, Colorado, Tom grew up in Montana and taught skiing at Bridger Bowl while going to school at Montana State University. He gra
duated with degrees in Engineering and Music.Tom came to Summit County to teach skiing at the Breckenridge Ski Area, fell in love with the area and never left. He worked as a builder in the summer and, in the winter, at ski school where he met his beautiful wife Heather.
Tom’s experience as a builder and training as an engineer gave him an insight into the best real estate opportunities in Breckenridge. In 1989, he became a Realtor and worked hard to help other people find these opportunities.
For the past 17 years Tom has been a Broker Associate and Co-Owner of Breckenridge Associates Real Est
ate. His ability to help people find their dream homes and avoid nightmares has made Tom, the No. 1 dollar volume producing real estate agent in Summit County. When he’s not selling real estate in Breckenridge, Tom enjoys many of Summit County’s recreational activities including skiing, biking, tennis and golf. His favorite activity is spending time with his family: Heather and sons Spencer, age 11 and Joshua, who has just turned two.
Tom is also a member of the Breckenridge Snow Sculpting Team. Each January, he and other members of Breckenridge Associates Real Estate field a creative team of carvers who enter into this challenging International Event.
